Nine Nights of the Goddess
During the lunar month of Sharada (the Autumn equinox) on the first day (pratipada) of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Ashvini , the Divine Feminine or Adi Parashakti is celebrated in all her eternal glory and splendour. This festival continues for nine nights and is revered as the principal Navratri.
Today we celebrate Goddess Amba, the manifestation of the primordial Mother Goddess or Mahadevi, a form of the protector incarnation Durga and also the lineal progenitor of all other goddesses.
Portrayed here with minute detailing and exquisitely hand embroidered by inter-generational master artisans using the very finest of components and heritage techniques, Our “Goddess Amba” artwork triumphs as an epitome of the Divine Feminine.
